Sacred Medicinal Grade Plant Essences
Wisdom of the Earth or lovingly called WOTE
A small medicinal essential oil company run and owned by women. They have over 260 single essences, PURE, UNDILUTED, AND HAND-POURED, with great care and respect.
For over 20 years, the founders and owners have sourced essential oils with integrity and a high standard. They continue to support and work with the many farmers who could not supply the demands of larger, well known, oil companies. Creating these relationships, committing to only distributing ethically produced, unadulterated oils, provides a collection of pure, medicinal grade oils with a divine vibration unlike any other in the market.
The diversity of medicinal plants.
Wisdom of the Earth celebrates the diversity of the medicinal plants they work with. Offering 11 distinct lavenders along with 3 species of Lavandin. There are 8 variations of eucalyptus and numerous offerings in the conifer families. While different subspecies are partly responsible for the variations within the collection, the geography of where the plants and trees are grown (and thus variable climate and altitude) greatly influences the biochemical and aromatic qualities of the essences produced. The same species of lavender grown in Greece will have very different aromatic and energetic qualities from the one produced in Spain.
Within all that magical diversity, WOTE also offers some rare and uncommon oils that are not part of the mainstream collections of most companies. Oils like Agarwood (Aquilaria agallocha), Cade (Juniperus oxycedrus), Oakmoss (Evernia prunastri), White Lotus (Nymphaea alba), and Galbanum (Ferula galbaniflua) are just a few of the oils found on the essential oil path less traveled.

“We believe that it is important to maximize the plant-human relationship, as we feel that increases the healing power of the essences. Therefore, we love to work with farmers who love their plants and are passionate about the essential oils they help bring into the world. Many of our farmers couldn’t supply the larger aromatherapy companies for a day...we have consciously remained small to enable us to remain true to our original intention...to buy from small, family farms, where possible, and always, no matter the size of the company, have a personal relationship with our suppliers.”
